Terms of service
Last updated: PLACEHOLDER DATE
Template — needs review. These terms reflect how the service actually operates, but the liability, warranty and governing-law provisions are deliberately left as placeholders. Have counsel complete and review them before launch.
What we provide
Peptide Tests Canada performs analytical testing on samples submitted by clients and issues a certificate describing the results. We do not sell, supply, source or broker any compound, and we do not advise on the use of any compound.
Scope of a result
A certificate describes the single sample identified on it, as received, on the dates shown. It is not a statement about any other unit, any other batch, the client's wider inventory, or the practices of any manufacturer named on it.
Vendor, batch and strength details printed on a certificate are as declared by the client. We report them because they make the certificate useful; we do not independently verify that a vial came from where the client says it came from.
Your responsibilities
You confirm that you may lawfully possess and ship the material you send us, that it is a research chemical and not intended for human or veterinary use, and that it is packaged and shipped in compliance with applicable law and carrier rules.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you declare. Samples arriving without an order number may be held until they can be matched.
Samples
Submitted material is consumed or disposed of as part of analysis and is not returned. We may retain a portion for a limited period to allow for re-analysis.
We may decline to test any sample, and will refund the fee for anything we decline before analysis begins.
Results and re-testing
We report what our instruments measured. If you believe a result is in error, tell us: where there is a plausible analytical explanation we will re-run the analysis at our cost. We will not alter a reported figure without re-running the work that produced it.
We may revoke a certificate if we discover an error, a sample mix-up, or that a certificate is being misrepresented. Revocation is shown on the verification page.
Confidentiality
Results are confidential. We do not publish certificates, and we do not maintain a public directory of tested samples.
A certificate can be opened by anyone holding the key printed on it, so treat that key as you would the result itself. We cannot control onward distribution by someone you have given it to.
Use of certificates
You may reproduce a certificate in full. You may not reproduce it in part, alter it, or present it as applying to a sample other than the one it describes. Doing so is a misuse of our name and we will act on it.
Payment and turnaround
Prices are as shown at the time of order, in CAD. Turnaround times are quoted in business days from the arrival of your sample, not from the date of order, and are targets rather than guarantees.
Liability
PLACEHOLDER — your liability cap, exclusions and governing law go here. This clause materially affects your exposure and should be drafted by counsel rather than adapted from a template.
